Superfletch 1 #1 April 7, 2005 I've been working on a video recently and I burned it to DVD yesterday... torwards the end of the video the audio on the video clip got out of sync with the video... the music tracks stayed in sync. I restarted the computer and then burned another dvd and the same thing happened. When I play the preview through iMovie it is all sync'd up like it is supposed to be, but after it is burned to DVD it is out of sync, only torwards the end of the video though... the first 45 minutes are fine. Anyone experience anything like this before? I just tried to extract the audio from the video clip and I'm going to burn another DVD but this is going to take about 6 hours to burn... Blah! Anyhow, I thought that I would post and see what you guys think in the mean time. I'll let you know if that resolved my issue or not. I was just hoping maybe that someone out there had experienced this before and could give me some insight. BETO74 0 #2 April 7, 2005 If is more than 50min of video the computer changes the settings on iDVD to best performance instead of quality, I had a similir thing happened to me but the video was a little jumpy or fast can't really describe it, anyways the trick is to stay under 50 min of video change the settings to quality. If it does not get fix that way, then I dont know, hope it help. Carloshttp://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

There is a self-contained option or something like that if I remember correctly. See if that solves your sync problems. If it does, drag the file into iDVD..... If you have set up chapters in iMovie4 the chapters should appear in the Quicktime player as a drop-down list at the lower right. Drag the file into your iDVD window and drop it and it will give you the "Play Movie" and "Select Chapter" options. Edited to Add: iMovie HD won't export to DV and include the Chapter Markers/Track....something that I really missed as it is nice to be able to export several videos, all with chapters and then drop the files into a separate folder in iDVD and then each video has the "Play Movie" "Select Chapters" option. So, a couple weeks ago I happened upon a bunch of Applescripts...a few of which are for Quicktime and one of which allows you to add Chapter markers to a Quicktime file...thereby giving back the ability I thought was lost after upgrading to iMovie HD.-- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey

rredman 0 #5 April 11, 2005 I had that problem with anything over about 40 minutes. Resolved the problem by making sure the camera taking the video is set to 16 Bit audio. If it wasn't in the original, you can still fix it by exporting the whole movie back to your camera (make sure the camera is set to 16 bit audio), and then import it back into iMovie and then back out to iDVD. That worked for me, so I hope it helps.
