SSkydiver 0 #1 March 31, 2003 Just got my Tri 160 today and it has a slider that seems to be pretty big. It measures 28x18 1/2. Maybe it just looks big in my living room.....i dont know. Any input from current/ex Tri owners would be appreciated.
Craig 0 #2 April 1, 2003 I have since sold my Tri 160 so I cannot recall the size of the slider. OTOH my Cobalt 135 has a 30 1/2" X 20" slider and it is stock.
pkasdorf 0 #3 April 1, 2003 It looks big and may be big but it certainly has to do with the nice openings. And it is fast and easily collapsible with it's string system once under canopy. HISPA # 18 POPS # 8757
skyblade 0 #4 April 1, 2003 mine is 29x18. So did you jump it yet? or are you just fondling it and examining every little detail until you get to the dropzone? J >Anything worth doing requires a helmet
Jethers203 0 #5 April 4, 2003 I have about 400 jumps on a triathlon. The slider seems a bit big, but is around the same size as other canopies. It also seemed big even with the slider collapsed. I think that was because of that single string to collapse it. The slider still flapped around even while it was collapsed, but the parachute was great to me. The easy packing zp makes up for all minor flaws in my opinion. Don't let the Spectre jumpers talk trash either. John D-24352
