Radio in freefall

Recommended Posts

Have tried it with a modern system just a few months ago. Used it while I was in a tracking suit and my friends were in wing suits. We were able to communicate well enough and was able to "pick" me up for a rodeo first try. Tried it on a Freefly jump but was almost useless as there was too much noise despite the volume being maxed out. Under canopy was great and clear though. Also was able to listen to the radio on some jumps too. (Speaker was only in one ear)
