Hello everyone and thanks for reading. To start with we had another exciting finish out in Perris Valley on April 15th where the top two teams ended only 1 point apart. This time around Team Elsinore Eclipse took gold with Team Mandrin close behind followed up by Team Skydrivers and Team No Name. The Meet Organizer, Eli Thompson put on a good show and awarded the top three teams a cash prize of $350, $150 & $50 respectively. Judges for the event were Mary Beth Koolhaas & Sarah Thompson. Thank you guys for a great time!!!

    VRW @ the US Nationals

The VRW buzz is that there will be a test event at the USPA Nationals at Skydive Arizona. Currently, schedules are being sorted out and we should have an idea when the VRW 4-Way comp will take place within the next month, but we can tell you that VRW 4-Way is officially a
test event at the 2006 Nationals!

Also, please don't forget about Skydive Chicago's Money Meet being held August 19th & 20th where up to $10,000 is up for grabs!

    FAX Meets
VRW's next competition is ONLINE!!! The only plane tickets you will need are jump tickets at your home dropzone. That's right, on June 24th - 25th weekend, teams from all over the world will be competing
against each other in an unprecedented "Online Fax Meet". Make sure to sign up on www.vrw4way.com a week or two before the competition begins. Click Here for more information about the Online Fax Meet.

What's that? You're team is already committed else where that weekend in June? It's all good... we've just added a second Online Fax Meet to take place in September on the 23rd & 24th weekend. We've gotten such a great response that we felt that adding another one now would help promote it around the world.

Not really, it's just that the FF crowd finally got over the self serving "we don't plan stuff attitude" and is now going to really enjoy huge increases in skill and precision and speed that 4 way RW brought to the sport. They've seriously stopped ridiculing/stifling the talented ones that want to learn in this way via competition. It was killing the progression of the discipline. Not any more.

I think it's a great thing for the sport. I can't wait to see some of the results that come from this.

Shows that the discipline doesn't matter in how you approach skydiving nearly so much as your attitude and goals.

Frankly, we'd likely get more conversation here if the forums were organized by Competitors and "Fun Jumpers" rather than RW and FF. But then the "Fun Jumpers" forum would just be a bunch of self congratulatory mockery of the Comp forum with no other substance:P. I'm thrilled to see a VRW update in the RW forum. It fits.

Thanks, that's why I posted this here. After all, what we are doing is Relative Work. I wanted to make sure that the traditional RW world knows that the majority of the freefly community has been itching for more structure and more "black and white" judging. As the US Artistic Events team manager for '04 and '06, the biggest complaint I got was judging and how things would change from one jump to the next. VRW makes is simple. Were all of the grips on video, yes/no, next point.

And yes, we are also NOT trying to re-invent the wheel, lots of RW coaches should be VERY excited about this as your potential customer base has just been drastically increased. Learn the VRW dive pool and you can get a LOT more business.......

    Just my $0.02....
