Cornholio 0 #1 November 7, 2002 Does anyone know of a good web site or other information base that details the different RW moves, positions, and docks ? For instance, a buddy of mine was organizing a 4-way a few weeks ago and he started talking about zippers and accordians and half-accordians or half-zippers, etc.... Is there a place that has all these terms in one place so that I can study them and not feel like such an idiot when skilled RW people are trying to tell me how to do these things ?? Edit: BTW, I understand that 4way.org has plenty of diagrams showing the randoms and block formations, but I want to know HOW to get into these positions from - say a round. For example, if I wanted to know what a donut is, the site shows me what it looks like, but I am unsure how to get there from the basic round (such as : turn right and grab leg gripper) or some info like that. Any ideas ?? Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

Ron 7 #3 November 7, 2002 WWW.omniskore.com Look at the dive pools. WWW.skyleague.com. In the store they have a program for a computer that shows the blocks being done.... SDU also has one, and 499 is still good. However Airspeed uses a very different continuity. Its not wrong, but very different. But from Randoms to Blocks, from the Blocks to Randoms, and Random to Random....you just need to watch a team that uses the same continuity that you plan on useing. Again WWW.omniskore.com Order the nationals video. Watch the Intermediate and Advanced. Pick your slot on exit and watch that person in the skydive. Enrique 0 #4 November 7, 2002 There is a Motion Coach link on the www.skyleague.com page, try that. The other thing you can do is logon to www.gravitypilot.com, it's a CD Rom produced by Arizona Airspeed and the web page has a nice demo. I have the CD and it is pretty cool, a bit expensive ($70) but very useful. Hope this helps.
Samurai136 0 #5 November 7, 2002 If you're not doing RW competitively, just look at the different formations and vizualize the shortest route for everyone to fly from one point to the next. As far as resources, there are several books that list nothing but formations from 3-way up to 10-way or 20-way formations. Sometimes we throw a jump together where eveyone names a point or two and that's the dive. Ken"Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken
