RW formation diagrams

Recommended Posts

Sorry about the mistake, I was responding to the original querry on the post, and the interpretation I took was he was seeking help with the formations in the dive pool. I appreciate the help though. I knew I could count on a informed response.

Yes, this "text" covers dives from 2-ways to 20-ways.

It's really helpful to show "newbie's" what a diagrams looks like and it's name.

We do many 5-ways at our DZ...the we are tired of spiders! laughing...

Also, If anyone has an old copy they want to "get rid of", please let me know!

Nice to know there's at least one other person here who thinks RW includes something besides 4-way.;)

Well, I wasn't too proud to log a 3-point 53-way or a 2 point 65-way for some arbitrary arithmetical reason! B|

We do some 5 way. Sometimes we have a 4 way planed and some one snivels on our jump (Joe). We will change as little as possible. If the fifth person does not fit a paticular point they can alway side body, cat, out face, or stairstep the point. Five way: phalex, donut, open accordion, close accordion, bundy, sat, unipod, crank, side body.:D
The fun never ends, oh break off.

Don't run out of altitude and experience at the same time...

I think the bests are the prime number sized formations :)

Sometimes I do not really understand the point of these numbers ... anyway, few of my jump bodies called me freak when i was celebrating more my 1024th jump then my 1000th :) the profession makes it.

Yeah buit all the good one are multiples of 4. 4-way, 8-way, 16-way, 20-way, 300-way???;):P I thought that the rest were jsut FF jumps that corked:D

So who's going to tell BJ and Roger and Kate and Jerry that their 99-way, 126-way, 131 way, 150-way, 246-way and 282 way etc. world records were just corked FF jumps? Not to mention the first RW jump of all, and the very first RW competition in November 1967:P.
