AiRpollUtiOn 0 #1 April 22, 2002 Just got a new RW- (why the hell do they need to call it FS anyway???) suit with booties.Does anyone have tips to train myself wearing this?I have a really funny feeling while stretching my legs, hard to explain, but it's not really comfortable Will jump for beer, bs AiRpollUtiOn
bhale 0 #2 April 22, 2002 Booties do take some getting used to. You really have to fly with legs up more, to prevent unwanted forward drive. Forward movement/tracking with booties is much more dymanic. Really watch the additional speed you'll have when approaching formations. I love the additional range they provide. TEB6363 0 #3 April 22, 2002 There are a lot of good responses in the "booties" (not boobies) thread that Lisa started.:::OK, Canopy is Open, No Traffic Around, .. Why are these "Extra" Lines Draping Down??, Damn!
Jumperpaula 0 #4 April 23, 2002 Quote why the hell do they need to call it FS anyway??? Formation Skydiving as opposed to Relative Work. Even freefliers do Relative Work now adays. Just practice. Gives you even more mental amo for "why you need to skydive!" practice, practice, practice Fly Your Slot !
AiRpollUtiOn 0 #5 April 24, 2002 In dutch saying "RW" sounds normal, saying "FS" on the other hand sounds kinda stupid.I don't get it, we use expressions from different places, for instance, no one says sit-fly over here, it's chute assis, as JB Olivier (supposedly the inventor) called it @ espace boogie -Vichy Will jump for beer, bs AiRpollUtiOn
