SkydiveMonkey 0 #3 March 31, 2002 Jumping a student zerox as his rig - needed a repack !! Just out of date though. It took him ages to come down, I pulled at 3500 also jumping a student kit (as mine hasn't been delivered yet), and landed about 3 minutes (at least) before he landed in a field about 200 metres away from the arrow. AggieDave 6 #4 March 31, 2002 It's not every 182, there has been only one that I've jumped that had a handle that could snag a flap (and by god it did it to me when I jumped it), so far. Each door is different, just take note of the door frame and handle, etc when getting into the aircraft and remember not to rub your rig against the door and you *should* be fine."Homer Simpson, smiling politely." SkydiveMonkey 0 #8 April 1, 2002 He was going to land on the arrow, but there was a slight change in wind at about 2000 feet and it blew him a couple of fields over. It was really close.
