Gswoop issue

Recommended Posts

Occasionally gSwoop does not get the turn degrees correct because of one or more snaps in the turn. The GPS only records position and velocity, not orientation, so during a very steep dive it is problematic to determine your rotation. Usually gSwoop can infer the amount of rotation during a snap based on the start and end points but this is not foolproof.

If you share your CSV file I will take a look to make sure this is what happened.

I'm on my work computer right now so I don't have my CSV file handy. I'm rather new to the flysight/gwoop combo so I just wanted to make sure I didn't have something configured wrong. If that's what happened then all the remaining data like entry height and rollout and all that jazz should be relevant then, short of the degree of turn and the turn rate correct? Thanks.
