Camera setup in canopy, facing down on pilot...

Recommended Posts

I'm working on a XRW project where we'd like to have a camera up in the canopy or suspension lines, facing down to get a view of the canopy and wingsuit pilots.

I've seen some pulley systems on paragliders, and some other methods on larger parachutes... was just curious if anyone has rigged something like this on a heavily loaded high performance canopy flying at XRW speeds.

Any ideas?

There was a thread on this awhile back. Someone had a pocket sewn into the bottom skin with a go pro in it. The downside was you had to start it recording before closing the container. So you had to pack on the 5 min call ;)

i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response. Naw I wasn't low I'm just such a big guy I look closer than I really am .
