Hey guys,
looking to build a pond very soon and need some HQ pictures of some existing ponds (rectangular man made) to give authorities an idea of what we want. Any help is appreciated.

If you some day wish to set up official competition courses, you might want to concider oval / diamond shapes.

not that its ever going to be allowed on our dz, but out of interest;

is it just digging a ditch, putting some watertight stuff in, like a rubber membrane, and filling it up?

Or do you need pumps and such? I'm thinking the water will start to smell if you dont circulate?

Smaller ponds or ditches are usually tarp'd. Spacelands the one in the photo I posted above has two fountains that keep the water clean.
