ianmdrennan 2 #1 January 11, 2009 Looks like Al and crew have stepped it up for the 1st and 2nd amateur place rankings this year. Check them out here http://www.cpafl.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=12 Nice job Al - I think those are perfect prizes! Remember folks, you don't have to live in the region to compete in it. There are plenty of folks who fly/drive in from other regions. Blues, IanPerformance Designs Factory Team
piahenzi 0 #2 January 11, 2009 ..true that! We even have Europe represented now. :-) See you there!
ianmdrennan 2 #3 January 11, 2009 Looks like Clewiston won't be in the cards for me. Tickets are ridiculous - if we can organize a cessna flight down I may make it. Otherwise I'll be at all the others. Have a safe meet!Performance Designs Factory Team

ianmdrennan 2 #5 January 11, 2009 Thanks Pia - I'm really bummed too. At 550 per person, per ticket, it's just a little too much right now Can't wait to see you in at the next meet Performance Designs Factory Team

kj126 0 #8 January 13, 2009 Gonna miss the first round as well, works sending me to Korea this week, but will be eager to attend in Feb. eUrNiCc 0 #9 January 13, 2009 I'll be missing the first comp too But I'll be thinking about you guys while I'm up in Chicago. How many meets do you have to go to in order to place in the season points? Happy Swooping! Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age.
berchtoldaj 0 #10 January 13, 2009 There will be 5 meets in the season. If you attend all 5, your standing is calculated using your best 4 meets. The worst one is dropped. If you only attend 4, well those are your best 4 meets! If you do 3 or less, you'll still get scored if your a league member, but you'll have a 0 in the 4th spot.************ Watch out for planters. berchtoldaj 0 #11 February 24, 2009 Meet #2 is complete 41 competitors and $1,000 cash and about $100 in jumps from Zhills handed out. 11 pro and 29 amatuer. We paid out the top 5 slots. It was quite a challenging meet. Winds went from a 5mph cross wind, to a slight downwind, back to the crosswind, to a headwind. there were 3 seperate courses which made setups challenging for pro and amatuers alike. Scores for the meet and cumulative for the league members so far are up on the FLCPA site. http://www.cpafl.org/ Remember the overall amatuer champ is getting a free ride to nationals(flight, hotel, jumps, reg) and 2nd gets his registration and jumps covered. See you guys next month in lake wales!!************ Watch out for planters.
