Pendragon 1 #1 November 25, 2007 I'm heading over to Florida in a couple of weeks: anyone know the current state of the pond in Lake Wales? I've heard conflicting information; one that it's half drained and the other that it's perfectly fine! towerrat 0 #2 November 26, 2007 I'm pretty sure the lake wales pond is dead. Z-Hills has a nice pond but you need to get a low pass to swoop it. eUrNiCc 0 #3 November 28, 2007 I was in Lake Wales last week & the pond is definitely low. I swooped it a few times, but had to pop up a bit to miss the bank. By the end of the weekend the water had gone down noticeably and there were a few islands starting to form.
