Deano 0 #3 February 10, 2005 I believe there is more hills in New England than anywhere else in the country, just not as tall. Unfortunately they are all covered with pine trees. But somewhere, someone must know of a cleared out slope with just the right pitch. Deano
SkySlut 0 #4 February 22, 2005 Plenty of places...I would imagine that you could look up online about hang gliding. I know that there is a place in NH somewhere. Sorry, I dont know where but I know a few people that went so I would assume that you could find a place. I dont know anyone who is doing it around here. But I am sure that if you looked around you could find some great places.
cyberbandit 0 #5 February 22, 2005 The place you are thinking about in NH is Morning Side over in Charlestown. Its on the Vermont/NH border. They have couple of launch points if I remember correctly. I went there once to see about a possible ultra light ride/jump but the conditions were bad and the ultra light pilot who invited me wasnt there. Team Mantis----Mantis #3 Stop Looking at Me Swan! LawnDart21 0 #6 February 23, 2005 PM me, I don't want to post the locations (that I know of) publicly as they are (at the moment) still in need of preservation from public exposure. -- My other ride is a RESERVE.
