Remember:

  • DO NOT do business with anyone who offers to send you payment for a higher amount than your selling price with the understanding that you'll send back the balance.

  • Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be acting on behalf of a "client" or another "customer".

  • Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be from Nigeria or West Africa

  • If you agree to accept a check payment, then do not send anything, gear or "change" before the check cleared. And be careful, if you manage to clear a fraudulent check then you may be liable for the damages if the bank finds out later. Make sure your bank authenticates the check.

  • If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.

Had the same first e-mail, after an answer from me, he insisted about the fact that he don't want to let me care about the shipping. He told me it was a gift for his father and wanted to surprise him.

''I'll send you 850$ and I want you to help me send this money to my pick-up agent by Western Union........bla bla bla bla''!!!!

Too perfect to be real! He wanted the rig anyways, quick, no inspection, he was only caring about the money transfer!

So stupid......he told my container was for his dad as a gift.............ha ha ha ha, a rig as a gift, can be true, but suspicious, so I asked him his father name, dropzone, number of jumps and some others infos!

No infos from him about any dropzone or other questions I sended, but he told me.........''my father name is Brian Lewis''........ha ha ha ha ha! The buyer (scam) is Brian Patridge and his father is Brian Lewis!!! So fucking original!

Funny!
