Remember:

  • DO NOT do business with anyone who offers to send you payment for a higher amount than your selling price with the understanding that you'll send back the balance.

  • Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be acting on behalf of a "client" or another "customer".

  • Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be from Nigeria or West Africa

  • If you agree to accept a check payment, then do not send anything, gear or "change" before the check cleared. And be careful, if you manage to clear a fraudulent check then you may be liable for the damages if the bank finds out later. Make sure your bank authenticates the check.

  • If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.

The guy listed above by the user name of johnbull, sent me an e mail on the 26th may asking for details on my kit. On checking this person out he has never logged in and has mo personal details on this site. He sent me the exact same e mail as the one above.
I have sent details back to him and today found this to be a SCAM buyer, thanks for the warning.

I got the same email also. So I responded and this is what I got back from him and it seemed kind of shady.:
Hello
Thanks you very much for your urgent response, i will like you to mail me the pics, and i have relay it to my client and is very interested in buying it, and i have already explained everything to him about the System and he wants to pay the amount you charged on it

He now requested for your Full Name and Address with your Phone Number so that he can make the check for you.because he is paying with a Money Order OR cashier's check which will easy to cash at your Bank.

And i will also arrange for the shipping agent who will come for the picking up at your house.when the check clears.
thanks for your co-operation

Yeah, I'd stay away from this person - I just got the same email(s) as you too: See below:

Yup. I got this exact wording as well. Better yet, I also have one of his fraudulent (WAY over the amount) checks. The logo of the bank (Regions Bank, Memphis) is not even current. A bank representative told me today that I should frame it and put it on the wall, as that is about all the satisfaction I will probably receive. There are too many jurisdictions for authorities to get involved, so my energy on this one stops here, except for warning others.
