BKS60 0 #1 June 2, 2012 I will be starting AFF on Friday! There's apparently not an indoor tunnel in my area so prepractice is out! I was wondering if there is any information on-line to study about control during freefall or would it be best to wait for the instructors!"You don't get many warnings in this sport before you get damaged"
dragon2 0 #2 June 2, 2012 You said it, your best bet is to wait for your own instructors. Freefall control is only a (small) part of what you'll be learning on your first jump course. Basically you'll get so much information before your first jump, that any theory you read or watch on video is probably just too much information right now, information that might even conflict with what your instructors want you to learn/do. For now, just go to the course, take it all in, do a couple jumps - and have fun doing it of course ciel bleu, Saskia

As far as online reading, I went to USPA.com and downloaded the SIM. It helped me a lot. One thing I found very very helpful is arch, legs and relax. You'll love the sport. Let us know how it goes! I'm interested in hearing what happened and how you feel about it.
