Has anybody jumped the new Hurricane. This the upgrade to the Heatwave????

What do you mean by 'new' Hurricane? is there an updated version?
The only Hurricane I know has been around for a while. Apparently it's similar to a Stiletto, but has a steeper glide.

I have just purchased a Hurricane 120 and as far as I am aware it is pretty much the same design that has been around for the last few years.

Have you heard anything to the contrary?

The Hurricane is made by Parachute Systems in South Africa while the Heatwave WAS made by PISA (Parachute Industries of South Africa) before PISA was bought out by Aerodyne. As a result of this none of the old PISA canopies (Heatwave, Hornet, etc) are manufactured but they are still maintained by Aerodyne.

The Hurricane is not an update to the Heatwave, the heatwave was produeced by PISA. The Hurricane is produced by Chute Shop or as they are now known Parachute systems. They also produce the Vortex II container and the ZP.exe main.

I fly a Hurricane 150 and I love it! Please remeber if your in a hurry this is not the canopy to by the service is slow and customer serivce is non-existant.
