Javelin J-3

There's a Javelin J-3 for sale which I'm considering buying - what does everybody think about them? Are they worth having?

I have a J-2 with a Omega 170, little tight and a tempo 170.
I love it, had a Vector 11 before, night and day when it come to comfort.
Very nice rig
Jump it as many times you can if your buying used to make sure it fits you good.

Not having persoannly owned a Jav before, I'm not 100% sure of this, but damm close to 99%....
the J-3 is simply the size of the container: it defines what size reserve and main can fit in there. By knowing the rig is a Javelin J-3, all you know is that its a Javelin of a perticular container size (have a look at the Gear section and go the Sun Path web site and look it up for the details).
What you should find out is what's it DOM (date of manufacturing), its harness and yoke size (thi will tell you if its for a small or large person), and a lot more details on it.
Jav were and still are very popular rigs.
