heyday 0 #1 July 16, 2008 Hi This happens when using Firefox 2 or 3 in Windows XP Pro. When I click on a link to an image in a forum thread Firefox is unable to display the image telling me that it cannot be displayed because it contains errors. This happens on all image links. Does anyone know a solution to this. Is it something that needs to be done server side or can I fix this locally. Thanks in advance for any solutions (except those that involve using IE ;-) ) David"Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it."...Steven Wright
BIGUN 1,053 #2 July 16, 2008 Did you install the NoScript add-on to prevent viruses/trojans/adware/spyware? If so, you'll need to whitelist this site in preferences.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. heyday 0 #3 July 16, 2008 Hi Bigun Thanks for your reply. Err no I didn't installed 'no script add-on's'. Should one have to? I'm not really familiar with white listing...is there some light you could shed on this whole matter :-) Thanks David"Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it."...Steven Wright
BIGUN 1,053 #4 July 16, 2008 Truthfully, that was just my first thought and if you didn't install it; it's kind of moot. NoScript is a choice. For more information on that particular add-on itself - here: http://noscript.net/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722 Whitelist = permission Blacklist = no permission.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
