This is something that Chrome has decided to do, probably in the hopes of moving more towards things like HTML 5, but Adobe Flash Player is still very prevalent on the net - and I imagine it'd take a while before they decide to unsupport it completely. Your browsing experience shouldn't be affected though, at least not at this stage.
