Indoor Skydiving World Championships

The Indoor Skydiving World Championships will take place at iFly Singapore, 13th-16th December 2012.

There will be open categories in:
4-way Formation Skydiving
VFS (2-way and 4-way)

There will also be amateur categories in Freefly and 4-way Formation Skydiving. Plus a Kids only (age 7-16) NeoFreestyle competition.

Up for grabs will be cash and prizes worth over SGD $150000.

The prizes have been announced (all prizes listed in SGD):

4-way Formation Skydiving - 1st: $18,000 / 2nd: $12,000 / 3rd $8,000
VFS - 1st: $15,000 / 2nd: $10,000 / 3rd: $8,000
Freefly: 1st: $15,000 / 2nd: $10,000 / 3rd: $5,000
2-way VFS: 1st: $4,000 / 2nd: $3,000 / 1st: $2,000

There's also 35 hours of tunnel time up for grabs in the amateur categories.

Entrance is $400 per person or $300 if you pay before the 1st October.

Our friends at the IBA are hosting a competition on 5th November at wind tunnels across the globe. It's a great way to compete against other teams, while flying in your home tunnel, plus the world wide winners will win flight tickets to Singapore to take part in the Indoor Skydiving World Championships.
