rehmwa 2 #1 January 13, 2008 So the Parachutist from a couple months back had a neat Skyventure back cover with pictures of the sites in operation and sticky note with those underconstruction on it. Who knows if those "under construction" are REALLY under construction or just more of those that are "under consideration"? Because one of the was Singapore, and I'm in this week and would like to go to the site just for the fun of it - even if it's just a hole in the ground right now. ... mrbiceps 0 #4 October 21, 2008 does anyone know what the specs are on this windtunnel?
Chrisky 0 #5 October 21, 2008 AFAIK (dont remember where I read it) it will be same specs as Airkix (14 ft/1200hp IIRC). When I was last there in August they were training the Singapore instructors. The mind is like a parachute - it only works once it's open. From the edge you just see more. ... Not every Swooper hooks & not every Hooker swoops ...
tunnelfly 0 #6 October 21, 2008 Has Airkix grown ??? When they built it, it was only 12 ft... No.1 reason NOT to be an astronaut: ...You can't drink beer at zero gravity...

browncow 0 #20 February 25, 2010 Hey Tim, I am moving to Singapore from NZ in a month or so. Do you go up to Malaysia for any jumping or is it a bit of a mission? Do you have your rig with you and if so do you have any problems storing it with the humidity? Cheers.
