I've seen a lot of people not able to figure this out, so a quick lesson: When drafting your post, click the URL button just below the text box you are editing in. This will insert a URL tag. Next insert the URL itself in quotes inside the tag. Then, add text that you want underlined, after the url tag, then finally close that text by clicking on the /url button, which will insert the close url tag (slash URL).... in the create post window, it should look kinda like:

url "http://youtube.com/watch?v=eI0pN9-ETBk"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=eI0pN9-ETBk /url

I had to substitute and for the actual square bracket characters to be able to display the details. Remember to use the "Preview Post" button to look at your post and see if it worked right.

Sorry mods, if this is the wrong place for a lesson like this :)

Perhaps this is a little clearer.

If you want to put a url in, the simplest way is to just put url tags around it like this:
[url]http://youtube.com/watch?v=eI0pN9-ETBk[/url]

which produces something like this:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=eI0pN9-ETBk

If you want to get trickier, you can control the text that is displayed for your link to make it something a little more pretty, like this:
Hey everyone, check out this [url http://youtube.com/watch?v=eI0pN9-ETBk]cool wind tunnel video[/url]!

Which will produce something like this:

Hey everyone, check out this cool wind tunnel video!

If you want more help on how to do different stuff in your posts, click on the Get Markup Help link just above where you enter the text for your posts.

Edit: Made prettier. [Wink]

Just click the URL button, insert it before and after your link..thats all...

There is also the 'Get Markup Help' option people could potentialy try out..."If everything else fails..read the manual" type solution..
