geofsmth 0 #2 June 4, 2010 I have looked all over the USPA site and find nothing about these seminars. They are not listed in Parachutists. Can these be an informal seminar conducted at the DZ with all rating holders to discuss policies, procedures etc. I am confused. Maybe it is just the blonde in me. djmarvin 2 #3 June 4, 2010 From the glossary of the SIM 2009-2010 edition pg.221 "RATING RENEWAL SEMINAR, USPA: A meeting of USPA instructional rating holders to exchange information, introduce and discuss new ideas, and to develop, improve, or assure the quality of skydiving instruction." Staff meetings often meet this requirement. At times you may even have an impromptu meeting of Instructors going over technique and policy.
