cpoxon 0 #2 February 21, 2008 Hi Mac, You'll need to be a Basic Instructor (either a Catergory System Basic Instuctor i.e. static-line or Tandem Basic Instructor) before you can attend at Tandem Instructor Course. Read Section 4 (Instructors) of the British Parachute Association Operations Manual, particularly Para 5 (Tandem Instructor), Para 1 (Category System Basic Instructor) and Para 2 (Tandem Basic Instructor) for more details. I really recommend going the CSBI route as the TBI route only leaves you with the opportunity to do the TI rating and nothing else.
