sid 1 #5 November 4, 2007 I "may" have seen a Tandem I (that's since retired) use a runner#s gps on a couple of dives. I think it was a "fore runner" maybe....... It worked well enough if he laid his hand on the students head under canopy...... but like was said earlier "don't do dat" Pete Draper, Just because my life plan is written on the back of a Hooter's Napkin, it's still a life plan.... right? NSEMN8R 0 #6 November 4, 2007 QuoteJust wondering if there are any TM`s out there that use or recommend a wrist mount GPS? My Garmin Foretrex 201 has come in very handy. It works in the plane (C-182) and under canopy.
ast4711 0 #7 November 5, 2007 I can confirm this. Sometimes I use my Forerunner 301 and it is very useful if you need it... You could also use it to record your canopy descent and later view it in 3d with google earth. alex -- www.tandemmaster.net www.skydivegear.de
