How many current AFF JM are there?

Recommended Posts

Well, while in the title you ask for current, and in the body you ask for expired, so here goes:

Certified 1983, expired 1988. I took 13 years off of jumping, and had been too irregular to be particularly current at AFF before then. Obviously I'd have to be recertified to start again, and DZs have changed; I don't think I want to.

I don't think they had certificate numbers then, but I could be wrong. It's been awhile...

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

Rated in 1994, barely stayed current in last 5 years (had 2 kids, yada yada). Every year I wonder if it'll be my last year teaching and maybe even jumping, but I keeping hanging in there.

Pretty proud of keeping the rating this long while having a couple of babies, it sure does make it difficult.

Got my USPA rating in 1992, came back to SA in 1993 and did the PASA AFF evaluation course. Couldn't renew my USPA rating since there are no S&TA's here. I've remained current since then doing an average of about 150 AFF dives a year.

If I go back to the US I'll need to go through the process to get my rating again, but I've learned something on every course I've been on, so I'm ok with that.
