World record jumpers outside an aircraft...

Recommended Posts

I remember seeing a documentary on the most jumpers on the outside of an aircraft... recollection it was the Junkers version of a Ford Trimotor.

But I can't find ANY reference to it on the web. Would like to watch the video again, but can't find it...

Anyone here have any leads for me on this search?

That twin beech in Skies Call, with all the jumpers outside must have been close to a record.

At the time, yea... I'm guessing its what inspired them to call out the tri-motor. Recollection is that it was almost twice that number though...

The Parachutist story is in this Howard White post:

A photo of the jumpers on the Ju-52 is in the first post of his thread. I assume that it is the record but didn't check the details of the thread.

Yep, that's the one!
Thanks all.... now if I could only find a copy of the tv documentary on it...

put out more jumpers than the Lockheed in Skies Call or on Caidin's JU-52.
Dennis Jett, currently at Elroy has the photos.

I think this is it
