Reportedly a skydiver jumped in to this historic event and spread LSD tabs. See attached article.

Who was the jumper? Any details on the jump? Can't quite ID the canopy type. Looks like it might have a keel in some angles. Dactyl? PC?

If it was 1967 it was a cheapo, Crossbow, or PC, as far as I know. Maybe it was DB Cooper

Looks like we have the canopy ID'd as a PC or PC clone. Now who was the jumper? And is there any truth to the story about the jumper doing an airdrop of LSD tabs?

Quite likely this was a Nor Cal skydiver and there weren't all that many in 1967.

Somehow timing is different on some versions. Jumper can be seen starting at 16:56 minutes.

Somebody out there must know who the jumper was. So far nobody has been IDd.

Definitely a PC. Local popular mythology was that the jumper was Owsley Stanley, but I don't believe that. It is quite possible that the jumper was an associate of Owsley's. Also known that Owsley cooked up a special batch of "White Lightning" acid, specifically for this event and that gobs of it were given away for free. So the jumper may well have given away or tossed many hits. Plenty of open space to land on the Polo Grounds. Aerial delivery of LSD was a popular stunt in those days, there was a large load of Orange Sunshine dropped from a low flying airplane over the 1968 Newport Pop Festival as well.
