Krip 2 #28 June 3, 2014 airtwardo I started in the mid 70's...In my 6th decade too then...Great - now I REALLY feel old! Hi Mr T I started in 68 but haven't made any in the present decadeThats 2011 on. I was trying to remember if I jumped at LP in 2010, but it really wouldnt have made any difference So I'm good for a solid handfull, 5 decades and 2 centuries. Twardo if you feel old now I'm guessing you'll be good for another 2 decades if you want to. Thats only 26 years from now btwForget about getting another century unless you count a ash dive. One Jump Wonder
Thunderbow 1 #29 June 3, 2014 Spread out my measly 500 jumps over 5 decades. 28 footers and t-10's, Thunderbow (imagine that), borrowed pc's, Strato Star, couple of Clouds, PD260, Silhouette 230, Pulse 260. What can I say? I liked to play with the gear as much as jumping it.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lord, let me be the person my dog thinks I am. Never missed making jumps in each of the included years...1972 to the present... 42 years of jumping. over 61 years on this planet...Better than 66 % of my lifetime... ripcord4 0 #33 June 4, 2014 Into my 6th decade here: 1960's through to the present. I will confess to slowing down a bit...with age comes wisdom, I guess! Almost forgot....that makes two different centuries, also. (Damn...I'm old)

377 20 #38 June 9, 2014 First jump 1968. Still jumping. So six decades? Skydinosaur, but a very grateful one. So thankful for gentle landing ram air canopies. I don't miss those cheapo landings. I'd be 6'3" instead of 6'2" had I not done over a hundred C9 spine compression jumps. 3772018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968. So we're claiming a "soft" 5 decades. 1968 isnt as solid as 1961 and we missed 2011 seriesInteresting to see a cluster in the 5-6 decade range, ( war thing?) and a solid two century's. I sure wasn't planning on it, it sure wasnt on my bucket list but it sure was fun. Watching the evolution of the the sport. For better or worse. I've heard the "if it wasn't for the squares mellow landings" sentiment beforeTo bad we've only heard from AJ aka Amazon so far from the womens side of the sport. Might be a gender bias because so many women never want to acknowledge their getting olderBe wellOne Jump Wonder
