kd5xb 1 #3 December 19, 2012 If it was like my Paradactyl, then -- WHAM! on opening, and WHAM on landing! LOL!I'm a jumper. Even though I don't always have money for jumps, and may not ever own a rig again, I'll always be a jumper.

kd5xb 1 #5 December 19, 2012 Paradactyls & PZ-81 parachutes are a lot of fun, but be prepared...I'm a jumper. Even though I don't always have money for jumps, and may not ever own a rig again, I'll always be a jumper.

As you get older.... think WATER JUMPS If I jumped the Terror-Dactyl I owned and jumped back in the 70's I would probably end up being less than 6 foot tall.. those landings were pretty harsh.. back then. Today... I am perfectly happy with my Original Equipment Landing Gear just as it is... with no aftermarket titanium add in's.I WOULD love to jump one into a nice large lake though... I can deal much easier with a BIG splash... much better than a BIG..... THUD.
