Recommended Posts

Meso approved.

I am pleased and happy to announce that my newest book, “Red Beans & Ripcords” is back from the printer and is ready for sale. The book looks at one corner of skydiving in the 1960’s and my time at Southern Parachute Center. I hope that you enjoy it! Please tell your friends if you like it. A more complete description of the book may be found here:

Buy the book half-off! Hi folks! I decided to have a little fun with the release of my new book, “Red Beans & Ripcords.” For a very limited time, you can use a special discount code which may be found on the book’s Facebook page and get a 50% discount off the cover price. All I ask in return is that you “friend” the Facebook page, and after you’ve read the book, comeback and tell us how you liked it. Fair enough? If you think so, please visit, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Red-Beans-Ripcords/229543427086742?sk=wall to find the code. It will apply only to books purchased on my e-store at: https://www.createspace.com/3623461 Enjoy!!

Well, I already purchased the book but I'm not going to complain . . . it's priced under $10 and that's pretty good!

I'll certainly "friend" you and hopefully stir up some further interest.

Good luck!

I received my copy of "Red Beans and Ripcords" today. I hurriedly ripped open the shipping package, left its shredded carcass on the floor, and pounced on the book like a certain ocelot...

I LOVED IT!

And, in the trite but true category, I literally couldn't put the book down, pee breaks and lunch be damned...

I finished "Red Beans and Ripcords" at one sitting and fininished the book wanting more, which is the best way to end a book anyway.

I can hardly wait for the next book to share more of Mike's aerial adventures.

I heartily recommend "Red Beans and Ripcords" to anyone and everyone wanting a humorous, accurate depiction of what being a 'sport parachutist was like back in the 60's.

Thanks Mike, for a terrific read and a smiling stroll down memory lane...
