And just now I sent them a message saying that the CBS Films version of Skyjack is moving forward, and may be released before next August. I'm still *tentatively* in favor of doing some type of Cooper event, although NOT a symposium. The idea that the first serious film on Cooper (outside of TV documentaries) may be released by that time is extremely interesting. I've decided to stall the final decision on what we will do regarding the theater....until I find out if and when the Skyjack film will be released. If it is BEFORE August 2014, then I will run Cooper films and shows for ONE day during the festival, and run sci-fi/family fare on the other available day that weekend. This event would be aimed at the general public, not Cooperland. So whether anyone who posts here, or is involved in Cooperland supports this idea is not a concern. We would do Cooper on Sunday, from 9AM until about 8PM. Friday, sci-fi/family from noon until about 8PM. If no one from Cooperland wants to make presentations or speak to the crowd in-between the films, then I will simply introduce each film myself and maybe do the Christiansen slideshow. I have received a few requests to do that, but otherwise it will be mainly the movies and TV shows. Privately-produced videos on DVD can be submitted, and if they are suitable for general public viewing, they will be run as well. We're still hammering out the details, but I think a program is beginning to take shape here. We SPLIT the days. One Cooper, one Other Films. A lot of this hinges on whether the film based on Skyjack will be ready by then. If not...then I may shelve this idea. I would really like to showcase that one. But they will have to look on the internet and see all my videos and my book and that will be that. Nobody wants a mystery anymore they want the truth. That happened on 6 13 13. I am broke out all over and it is hard to sit here and type. The itch is driving me MAD or maybe just MADDER! Having a SERIOUS celiac issue and I have NOT touched Gluten....when this happens I do not believe I have celiacs and the Dr.s do NOT truely know what causes the horrid rashes. With that said - I am going to take a soak bath and a pill and go to bed early - maybe tomorrow will be better. One of those times I have to take more prednisone than my maintance dosage. I know dyslexia they MIX things up and why numbers are so difficult.
