Cooper's ticket was ...773,,  Mitchell's was ...777, not definitive but suggests Mitchell was after Cooper.

Thanks Fly....the reason I was asking, it had kind of escaped me that his name was not on the passenger list and I am trying rationalize how that could have happened.

"Dan Cooper" is on the Portland passenger boarding list,, I think there was another list taken of passengers in Seattle.. without him.

As FlyJack points out above, Cooper was apparently not the last to buy a ticket.  After Cooper bought his ticket, there was a delay of about an hour since the airliner was late arriving in Portland.  So there was plenty of time for other tickets to be sold.

However, Cooper was reportedly the last passenger, or next to last passenger, to board the airliner.

Take a look at the first few posts on this thread and you will see a discussion and a lot of bitching about Quade locking the previous Cooper thread.  Carr's posts should be on that thread.

I don't think he had very may posts, or maybe none at all, on this Cooper thread.

Now, they jump on the "prior to 8:15" comment... taking it out of context..

The prior to 8:15 comes from Rataczak's statement that Cooper jumped after last contact with the hijacker at 8:05 and the call to Soderlind 5 to 10 minutes later.. which was in the suburbs of Portland. 

That means Cooper jumped before the 8:15 call to Soderlind which is approximately Battleground and the southern point of the LZ...

Soderlind took notes....

There is no revelation, nothing new, nothing that moves the LZ, nothing that disputes the FBI's analysis...

It is a nothing burger.

There were two comms from Rataczak about the jump,,

He immediately stated to ATC "mark your shrimp boat".. this is not in the transcript but there was a 14 minute gap due to the wrong sector/frequency. That may explain why it isn't there.. The ATC returns at 8:13 so the comment would be prior.

After a few minutes he called Soderlind in Minneapolis at about 8:15,, in the suburbs of Portland..

That confirms that Cooper jumped minutes before 8:15.. exactly where all the evidence indicates..

8:15 refers to the time of the call to Soderlind...  he took notes..

 

The only way you can move the LZ South of Battleground is to prove that the bump was not Cooper leaving the plane and that no bump occurred later when he did jump..

Good luck with that.

That is an excellent observation about the body language of the cockpit and cabin crews.  The three cockpit crew members have their arms crossed which means they have shut down and are not going to say anything.

For the cabin crew, Alice is turned 90 degrees from the media which means she has completely tuned out.  Only Tina and Flo are facing the media and Tina did most it not all of the talking.

Edwards appears to be reviewing all possible records looking for something that will narrow or identify Cooper's LZ. So far he hasnt found anything decisive. Chaucer is making suggestions for what and where to search, so far to no avail. Or am I missing something ? 

Missing is the pile of stones and a sign Cooper planted upon landing, saying: "I Cooper landed here! 8:15pm 11-24-71 ". And the money isn't talking either. Perhaps Cooper will send us a revelation, from the Nether World.

The evidence is there, they just ignore it or twist it.

You should have seen Chaucer's now hidden 45 minute video trashing Rataczak.. one of the craziest things I have ever seen in this case.. completely unhinged.

Now Ulis has some crazy video to explain his Western Flight Path, riddled with logical errors..

Everybody thinks they can reinvent the wheel,

The FP is solid and the LZ is solid. The FBI/Soderlind got it right..
