But I keep wondering about all those Cooper comics supposedly on his bedroom wall. It's awfully convenient to her story, and the hardest part to believe.

Maybe, Maybe not...

Could be the same last name thing was the reason.

He'd show off 'his' comic book character...who knows maybe tell stories.

I can see it, just on the name link.

BTW...I enjoyed the article.

I find it funny that you do a lotta heavy lifting only to get nasty grams for the effort.

If someone doesn't like the questions...interview her yourself and write an article. Until then the holier than thou routine smacks of an 'armchair journalism critic' whining about the way the game is going.

It's the one IN the arena that matters, not the critics in the stands. ;)

It would be an amazing coincidence if Snowmman's comic sleuthing hit the jackpot and the hijacker was a fan.

Marla is smart. The Dan Cooper comics part of her story was certain to raise eyebrows and inflame skeptics. If she were cunningly fabricating a story, would she have included the comics? I kinda doubt it. Just a hunch.

What are your thoughts about Marla's book potential.

If a person can fool other people into believing their story, then there's a story. This is what fuels UFO books. If not, then there's a story about the story and the motivations of the person who concocted it. This is what fuels stories like Big Fish.

I've always thought the biggest potential story in all of this DB Cooper non-sense was not the DB Cooper story itself, but the people that crawl out of the woodwork claiming some connection. Some are comical, some are tragic, most are just outright annoying, but there's a story in there somewhere.

Not that I'm going to write it. There's no way I'd even give a whack at it without being bribed heavily.

The topic has been thorughly studied by
sociologists, psychpologists, etc .. going way back.
Its a lot like Congress and the economy. Its been
studied to death, people know the issues and why,
but nobody will "do" anything about it. No mystery
as to why. The primary reason situations like this
never change (cant be changed) is people are
feeding off (dependent on) the system themselves.

Its called Natural Selection!

Two books will be necessary to fully cover the Cooper matter.

The first book will cover the investigation and why it wasn't solved in 1971 or 1972. This book will sell 20 copies at most.

The sequel will be as Quade describes above. It will be the most colorful book, filled with photographs of photogenic women, and make a ton of money.

Blevisn failed to ask what other comics, magazines,
etc LD had and must have discussed with family?

Several people describe LD as an introspective
type (no data to know if thats true). His ex-wives
and friends would know.

There is no proof at all LD even had a copy of Tintin
(the one contaiing the Dan Cooper cartoon). It would
be rare if he had "all" Dan Cooper issues! Having
more than one issue would be statistically
significant! Almost every kid had comics during that
era, sometimes piles of them. The comics Marla saw
could be anything, in my opinion. (Once again
Blevins failed to ask that question).

Blevins asserts (almost hypnotically) "It is known
that the money... could not have arrived before
1974". Well, Blevins needs to get his the facts
straight! These are not Blevin's facts but facts of the
real world he's tossing around like beer bottles..

The dredging work at TBar was not even finished
until late into September 1974, then a period of
settling and movement, then more grading after
that if the Faxio are to be believed. Ive talked to
people very close to this. (Tom has the same facts
I do). So basically we are talking about some time
in Octover at the earliest, but more lilkely after
the winter of 1974, after the Spring melt and high
water in 1975 .... before anything could have been
planted at TBar and stayed in-situ.

We are probably talking about some time in 1975
at the earliest for a plant at Tina Bar, and maybe
after 1976 (because 1976 was a high water year
again!), and maybe 1977 into the drought year of
1978, before high water in Dec of 78-1979 would
have washed away top sand enough to begin to
expose the buried (planted) money at Tina Bar.

And the last thing Blevins doesnt even seem to
know, or take into account, is the fact the money
was not 'found' in-or-on a dredge spoil mound, but
a considerable distance north (down stream!) of
one! So Blevins references to 1974 may be
irrelevant; Tom Kaye has been saying for years
the money find is independent of any dredging work
due to its location, as Tom sees it. Blevins seems
unaware of what Tom is even saying! Tom is saying
the Ingram money is totally independent of any
events in 1974, but a plant ocurring later.

And that is exactly one of my disagreements with
Tom Kaye. Normally, when you see an artifact down
stream (down current) from a significant feature
like deposit fill, you have to wonder if the artifacts
you are looking at didnt just wash out of the
upstream fill, whenever it was put down? Especially
when the artifacts you are looking at are basically
wedged up against some tree or plants that keeps
them from washing further down the sandbar and
away completely? Occam would select for my
scenario because it is the simplest. Tom alwas looks
for a more complicated scenario, which seems to be
his nature.

But, it is obvious Blevins doesn't even know what
Tom is saying, because Blevins doesnt even have
the essential facts Tom is citing. That is Mr. Blevins
nature, to run amuck, as we have seen over and
over again since he joined this forum. Working with
facts isnt in Blevin's nature -

I think Tom made a theoretical mistake. The very
separation of the money at some distance from one
of the dredge deposit piles (downstream of one!)
can mean the artifacts came from upstream and
are associated with the 1974 dredge pile, not the
reverse. If the money had been found upstream of
the dredging wastes then that would be a reason to
think 'independent deposit'.

There is more to this story which hopfully will come
out later. In the meantime I have every reason to
believe Blevins will just continue with his nonsense
which unfortunately is going to leave a lot of people
in disarray; all due to Blevin's nature a fact I can do
nothing about.

It is absurd for Blevins tosay 'I am against working
people or dont like working people'? That is crazy.
This is just one more in an endless line of examples
of where Blevins is incapable of dealignwith facts, so
he opts for emotional charges against people,
hoping to get support from people here - which he
gets! I am not runnign for elective office! Blevins is!
I have nothing to sell. Blevins does.

Or for Blevins to say I am not objective? That is
crazy.

An example of my objectivity is in my words and
thoughts above.

Blevins (and his sidekick Jerry Thomas) can pick a
fight with someone else!

Which makes me wonder why Marla hasn't showed up on DZ.

Do any of you seers and wizards know why she hasn't?

Good question. It suggests that Miss M doesn't need us, nor the information we can provide.

Further, M seems to have what she needs presently - her Facebook page. I encourage the curious to go visit her on Fb as she is currently letting her Inner Cougar run with luscious impunity.

The dredging issue has alsways fascinated me. I wish we could get Snow, Georger, TK and others together to discuss it.

That Tena bar money is so damned frustrating. It messes up all my otherwise perfect theories. I've even wondered if the Ingrams actually found it elsewhere, but I don't think they did.

But... one more BIG piece of physical evidence is still out there awaiting discovery, the chute Cooper jumped with.

If Marla has strong religious leanings, that alone
could be why she see Bruce as a 'wizard'. Instead
she choses now Blevins! Holy Crap! Marla has
chosen a real snake handler. sha ma lama phtzoh
mi ho renge kyo lama sho ho mo mo, sui mui
beraq adonai, shama lama mu ... and all that jazz.

One white foot try a horse
. . .

On the other hand if Marla's story is accurate, then
Marla is badly in need of professional help to
develop ACTUAL facts. Hopfully the FBI will do that
for her and provide her the guidance she needs,
and she listens and stops the press conferences.
Because you cant mix science and metaphysics and
come out unscathed/undiminished.

Because: If, LD had DC comics Tintin, may be only
one plausible explanation for how he came to know
them, and its very doubtful he schleped them in
Quebec City (because nobody can be two places at
once!). Very likely, its hiding in plain sight, as Jo
says, if it exists at all. Or it could be some other
comic she thinks for some reason was Dan Cooper.
How does she know it was Dan Cooper and not
something else? RMB could have asked her last
night but didnt for some wierd reason.

Will there be, um...nuns teaching at the school?

Those Nuns have ten foot rulers in each hand,
each weighing ten pounds. No kids ever went
through their review without having a broken wrist,
or a stubed pecker!

:D

I had many friends from that side of the Moon
growing up. Without them I literally might not have
survived and some of us are still in contact and
friends all these years later. Facing the SS down
erases all religious boundaries! And the SS cared
less if you were Jew or Catholic.

Dont tangle with those Nuns. They made Hitler
shrink and run! Patton had a corpe of them!

Actually, I've learned to see nuns in a whole new light since I started reading the DZ...it all started a long time ago in a hallway far, far away when I began a revolt against Mother Michaeline for giving homework on the weekends...

I found some great (objective adjective) studies conducted by companies with competing products and misaligned financial goals, but are 100% truthful and should be embraced and believed; just like those companies that brought Europe Thalidomide:

Yes, those Doctors sure did their legwork and investigated the healing abilities of Camel Cigarettes. I hope you encourage your children, friends and death row acquaintances to consider Camels when selecting a smooth, flavor filled diversion from life. Just the thought of a Camel makes my stoma water.

If you don’t have a medical degree along with a brain that can’t fill a teaspoon, won’t you consider the cigarette “Most Doctors smoke” who happen to smoke in our objective study while ignoring all the empirical data?

Hey, I got a court case against the son of the judge who is presiding next week. I know it will be fair because he said so and the law does not require any actions in such a situation. Sure is great how the Cooper community can get more incestuous and have authors report on other claimants under the guise of being fair.

Hey, when will Jamie Cooper be objectively interviewed about his father? Bueller, Bueller, Buelllllllllllllllller?

I know Georger and myself haven't really gotten along in the past, but I want to make it clear that I've come to appreciate him, even though I also recognize that he thinks low of me.

That's okay.

You make excellent points Georger, keep it up.

This will be my last post for a while before I disappear for several months again. When I come back, hopefully I will have something worthwhile for everyone to review.

I do have quite a bit going on, but if I can possibly do it, in the next 12 months I will finally lay my cards on the table. To use a poker term, I've been slow playing pretty hard. However, I think I've pretty much gone as far as I can on my own with this.

377, to alleviate your confusion, look to occam's razor ;)

I eagerly await to hear of what will be unearthed in the coming months ITT, and if it's less than you like, then perhaps I can give us something to debate and discuss when the time comes.

So Happy Holidays and chat it up with you guys in 2012 sometime! (try not to lose your shirt in the market in the meanwhile)

Oh... one last thing, I've mentioned to Blevins before that he might want to go learn a little bit about cognition. This same advice goes out to Curtis.... your lack of understanding of the human mind, as an agent, is quite appalling.

:(I think I told the WRONG person where to look - thought the individual was being nice and it turns out he was fishing on my pond? He baited his hook with kindness. Snake shed skins so I made a leap of faith.

I do NOT have the money or resources to look in the 2 places the Chute could be in...one is 6 ft under.

Ouch! A snake is still a snake.

If one thinks this is about them it probably is! How does the song go You Think this is About You, Don't You, Don't You.

I really cannot remember the words to the song, but all of you get my jest.

Sorry there are those who think I am the tragedy in this saga, but I maybe the survivor - only time will tell. At least I will know in my heart I gave it all I could - over 15 yrs of my life. Orange, NO need for any of snide remarks.

It was my choice because I believed in right and wrong. I simply never gave up the battle. I always thought truth and honor stood for something, yet this saga has taught me differently.

My personal beef of the day:

Not that it matters in the scheme of things but I don't think this (the part in bold) is accurate. The only reason I point it out is because you've made this claim several times.
I know you said it, and everyone wants to be the first to figure out the puzzle or find the elusive fact, but it wasn't completely missed and I'm pretty sure it had been brought up before - maybe it was before you started posting here. ...course i could be wrong :)
Just saying... it's not like that hasn't been part of the whole conundrum -- where in the hell is the rest of the money and how did 3 bundles/packets get separated from the main and end up where it did. :S

I appreciate you more than you think. A lot more
than you think. Youve caused me to spend several

good. Youve caused me to reach back and reclaim
