docjohn 0 #1 December 4, 2007 The PARACHUTIST magazine archive has been updated. We now have every cover photo since February 1964 plus 17 earlier issues. Also the web page has been improved. You can view these at: http://manifestmaster.com/parachutist/years.html There's approximately 30 issues left that aren't shown. If you have access to any of these, please scan the covers and email them to me. Enjoy! Doc http://www.manifestmaster.com/video
NickDG 23 #2 December 5, 2007 Outstanding! Thanks for doing this, I loved re-visting the covers from when I started in the 70s. And I'm going to have fun with these . . . NickD
NickDG 23 #5 December 5, 2007 And this one, without editorial, because I've always thought it the best cover shot of all time! It captures exactly why we jump. If it had a caption, it would be . . . "The beginning is best - and the rest is just practice . . ." NickD

NickD .............................................. Those were the days. The Golden Knights and Jerry Bird were on top. I wish I'd saved all those old Parachutist mags. Even poor college students could afford to jump back then. I ordered a new para-commander and super pro harness and container out of a Parachutist Magazine in 1973. I too will enjoy this web site.... piper17 0 #7 December 5, 2007 Amazing...I actually remember most of those covers from 1970. Maybe it's only my short-term memory that is the problem.
