edjackson 0 #1 June 8, 2007 I’ve had 10 years of “bonus time” since the crash and it’s been allot of fun. We were all lucky enough to get out alive. Is there anybody still around who was on the flight or remembers it? Chris Martin, Kent Stevens, and Bill McShane have all died since then. I remember allot of people helping out that day who were on the dropzone.
BillyVance 34 #2 June 8, 2007 I remember reading about that crash on rec.skydiving... I made a good number of jumps out of that plane the few times I visited that DZ. Just glad I wasn't on it when it went down. Glad you're still around! DougH 270 #3 June 9, 2007 Could some one give me a small cliff notes on the accident? This thread caught my eye because the 28th of June is my birthday. I am glad that it sounds like it was a non fatal crash!!"The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
edjackson 0 #4 June 12, 2007 We lost an engine after take off. The plane crashed into the forest which ripped off the wings and caused a fire ball. Everyone got out, but there was some serious injuries. It ended the era when Tennessee Skydiving Center in Tullahoma had allot going on.
