BIGUN 1,237 #2 April 28, 2007 Now while you may thin me a smart ass, I am going to ask you to tell me a bed time story about Maxine. I love skydiving history and to think that 40 years ago -this year... Anyway I'd like to know more about her. Where is she now, Did she give it up, get on with her life, etc.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. seahorse14 0 #5 April 26, 2012 hi all, i am a couple years late to the conversation here but wanted to say on behalf of Maxine, my Mom, that i am just tickled to find mention of her on this site, as she would have been. This June will be 14 years since she passed away, and we all still miss her. We've got some old posters from her international parachuting trips (Bulgaria) and a few other mementos from the era....she would have loved to share parachuting stories with everyone if she could have
BIGUN 1,237 #6 April 26, 2012 Hi. Glad to know that our specialty in "tickling" hasn't subsided. While your Mom cannot share some stories, do you have any you could share about her skydiving? And, I would encourage you to share her passing in the "Blue Skies" forum. That's usually where folks go to do their "searches" on those fellow skydivers that they may have heard have passed.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
