Tonto 1 #1 April 18, 2007 Last Thursday I was invited to dinner by a former AFF student of mine, who's now a close friend. He's Italian, and in his mid 50's, and coming up on 1000 dives soon. At dinner, at an Italian restaurant, I met the Italian owner, and later, after dinner had a chance to look through his photo album. He's D 7 in South Africa. C 3. B 1. Looking at the pictures of the gear, and the planes, and the youth of people we only see as old was inspiring. airtwardo 6 #5 April 19, 2007 TOO COOL! I just love it when stuff like that happens...At a demo some years back, an older gentleman (VERY older ) was watching me pack with great interest. I was making the usual polite conversation and 'basic' comments...when he asked if they/we still had licenses. Turned out he held a double digit 'D', but quit after about 500 jumps because his wife felt he was pushing his luck!
