Looking for Skippy

Recommended Posts

Anyone around Houston keep in touch or know the whereabouts of Skippy Manino? He was one tough old bird last time I talked to him. He was in his sixties then. Told tales of jumping "cheapos" onto floating barges and stuff. He might be pushing 70 now, or already there.

I haven't seen him since the old Spaceland days...

He's the only guy I've ever known to land a parachute on the rotor blade of a helicopter! Thankfully, the chopper was parked and the blade was not turning at the time...

He had the thickest Cajun accent I've ever heard, and I usually couldn't understand half of what he said. :-)
