kaneclan 0 #3 July 14, 2003 I was sad to hear this. I met Roger & made several jumps with him about 20 yrs ago. I think it was at the Nationals in Richmond. Or Z Hills. I don't remember. sjonak 0 #4 July 20, 2003 Very, very sad news. My wife and I met Roger (after hearing about him for years) at Quincy during one of the last boogies he organized there. We were wandering around after dark just enjoying the night after a long day of jumping. Roger came out of his RV, saw us, and immediately came up to us like we were old friends. He asked us if we were having a good time, if we needed anything, etc. Say what you want, we lost a pioneer...I didn't agree with everything he did but he was a wonderful human being.
