Upper Austria

Recommended Posts

I'm potentially moving to Upper Austria for work in the next few months.

Any recommendations for DZ's in this region or nearly with a good club scene?

Also anyone know if there is much paragliding around there?

Thanks in advance

Only dropzone I can think of in Upper Austria is in Wels ( http://www.unionlinz.com/ ).
But I don't know anything about paragliding going on there.
If you have time to travel around you could also go do the dropzones in
- Krems ( http://www.fallschirmspringen-krems.at/ )
- Wr. Neustadt ( https://www.paraclub.at )
- Graz ( http://www.oefc.at/cms/ )

I guess that anywhere in a ~100km radius would be feasible for a regular DZ would be good for me, if that increases my options?

Actually there aren't that much dropzones in Austria, and the ones I mentioned ( except Wels ) probably are further away than 100km. It really depends, where exactly you will be staying in Upper Austria. If its close to the German border, maybe you have a German dropzone in reach.
