mozhuakenyao 2 #1 December 10, 2015 Hi guys, I just booked ticket to LA, will arrive LAX airport at 10:03 AM, Dec 22. What is the best way to get to Perris? Found it too expansive taking shuttle.
jumpsalot-2 2 #2 December 11, 2015 You should have gone to Ontario Airport.Life is short ... jump often.
WickedWingsuits 0 #3 December 11, 2015 jumpsalot-2You should have gone to Ontario Airport. Depending on where the person is coming from that isn't always a viable option due to connections or cost. I agree that Ontario is a better choice, and then I prefer San Diego over LAX. Sorry, doesn't help the OP this time around.Summer Rental special, 5 weeks for the price of 4! That is $160 a month. San Diego International is actually a short drive than LAX!! From Google Maps here are drive times, without traffic delays. Ontario - 50 min San Diego - 1:30 LAX - 1:

If you have a smart-phone I'd use the maps feature to get you to your destination. https://goo.gl/maps/B72npuC1RjM2 The best deals for saving money on a car rental I've found from Costco Travel if you happen to know someone with a Costco card. jumpsalot-2 2 #7 December 12, 2015 Rent a car from the airport property ( Hertz, etc ). Make sure to set up the deal ( reserve a car ) as early as possible. Trying to get one on the day you arrive will cost more and a car may not be availableLife is short ... jump often.
PeterXC 0 #8 January 30, 2016 I was in the same boat earlier in January 2016. My solution was to take local transit to downtown LA Union station. From there $13 got me on the Metrolink train to Riverside, then my Metrolink pass allowed me to bord to 2 local buses that dropped me off in Perris within a short walk to the Perris DZ and a great week of jumping. After which I simply reversed the trip to fly home from LAX. Was long but considerably cheaper than renting a car.
