Any review for DZ in Varadero, Cuba?

Recommended Posts

:ph34r:Hi Everyone,
Was wondering if anybody has any reviews for the DZ in Varadero Cuba. Saw a post about a DZ, and but is dated in 2006, nothing more recent. I was also hoping to rent the gear as I don't officially have own. Any comments would be grateful. Trying to avoid lugging gear and paying the extra luggage fees and hoping they have some reliable gear available.

Thanx

Jumping every day.
MI-8 helicopter.
Jump along with rental and laying costs about $ 50. If you jump with your system, then $ 30.
Rent from 120 to 280 feet.

If you come back home through the US. Don't take with itself the Cuban cigars. Don't take with itself anything Cuban.
There can be a trouble in US.

Thanks for the info, greatly appreciated. As for bringing anything back, fortunetly for me I am Canadian, so no worries about bringing back cigars. Are the the chutes in good shape, I will be with my wife and if she sees older shoots she may not let me jump. Would you also know how to contact the DZ by any chance?
