Is Thai Sky adventires open? Urgent please.

Hey guys and girls.

Does anyone know if this dropzone is open or not?
There website saids, the end of februay, but they dont pick up there phone or answers emails. Im in Thailand and is soon getting home and dont want to take the trip, if is cloosed.

So i need a quick reply.

haha sadly not, they've been closed since June 2011. On their facebook page they've been saying that they'll open next month since last June soooo yea.......

Anyhow, if you REALLY want to jump go to Bird's Paradise Extreme resort 1hr outside of Udon Thani airport. Good vibes and people, but now they've only got a cessna 172.......yea 40min ride to 10k for $49 USD

I have heard and read about that dropzone, but it's to far away and there plain is as you said pretty bad.

I just called them and didn't get an answer. I'd love to get a jump in Thailand just to say I did.
Has anyone here actually been to the DZ? I'm tempted to go out there just to see for myself.

Many of my friends used to jump there during the time it was open (Dec 09 - June 11 I think). They have a Porter and prices were 900 Baht ish for fun jumpers. Feel free to go if you really want to visit, but don't be disappointed that no one is there jumping. Hopefully they'll be opened within the next few months, only time will tell.

As I said above, if you really want to jump to say that you jumped in Thailand then go to http://www.thaiskydiving.com/ open 7 days a week, but just call to make sure people are jumping. Only 1:30 drive from Udon Thani airport and you can arrange to have a driver pick you up (via the DZ) and drop you back at the airport for 1,500B round trip.

edit to add: Saw that your home DZ is san marcos, there is an instructor at Bird's Paradise Extreme Resort aka the open DZ that used to jump at san Marcos back in the day and has around 10k ish jumps. Name is Doug

Thanks for the advice, I'll call them tomorrow. Didn't know doug. I started jumping about a year and a half ago.
