faulk04 0 #1 August 18, 2011 I'm looking to make a few jumps while in Houston for work next week. Which DZ would y'all suggest me going to? Looking to do some nice RW
AggieDave 6 #2 August 18, 2011 Both are nice DZs with nice jumpers. My questions would be: are you going to be jumping in the middle of the week and where in Houston are you going to be?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." faulk04 0 #3 August 18, 2011 Ill be there Sunday-Friday...most likely be jumping sunday and friday...Depending on my free time. Ill be staying in Katy so I think Skydive houston would be closer?
gemini 0 #4 August 18, 2011 Note that Skydive Houston has moved to Eagle Lake, TX which is between Highway 59 and Interstate 10. Exit Wharton off 59 or exit Columbus off I-10. Blue skies, Jim
AggieDave 6 #5 August 18, 2011 Well, both DZs do a brisk business on the weekends and you're sort of in the middle between both DZs (although SDH would be closer). Why not do Spaceland on Friday and SDH on Sunday then you don't have to choose. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." countzero 7 #6 August 18, 2011 if you do go out to Skydive Houston be prepared, last i heard they still don't have A/C and with the current texas heat wave bring lots of water. you'll have no shortage of RW folks to jump with at either DZ.diamonds are a dawgs best friend
ASTKU 1 #7 August 18, 2011 Spaceland for serious team environment, houston for more laid back dz. More stuff going on in spaceland but I prefer skydive houston.... kinda like perris vs.elsinore to me. It just depends.....
