clint 1 #1 August 27, 2009 Skydive Moab's 6th Annual M.O.A.B. This September 24-27th, Skydive Moab will be hosting it's 6th Annual M.O.A.B. Once again, Skydive Arizona, with their world-class staff, will be organizing fun-filled jumps over the amazingly beautiful Moab. Craig Amrine will be heading up Freefly jumps. Cindy Nieves and Blane Boynton will be back again to get you up,out, and over the breathtaking landscape with formation skydiving, RW. Long time friend and colleague, Lyle Presse, will bring his expertise in RW big ways! Plan to participate in the 16+ways with Lyle. Also planned, is a 20-way jump into Mineral Bottom! You don't want to miss this one! For the past 5 years, Ambrosia Brown has been on site offering wonderful, relaxing, massages. So if you've had a hard opening, rough landing, or are just in need of some TLC, she will again be available, all week-end long! On to Night life - Thursday nite we'll head into town to the famous Moab Brewery for appetizers and BEER! Also gaining fame, is our Friday Nite BBQ. We will be cooking up a storm just for you! Saturday Nite is Party Nite! Get down and boogie the nite away with the colorful disco sounds of Sparkle Motion. Think about bringing some funky attire for the occasion! May as well get Full Effect!! A relaxing dinner, Sunday Nite, at a restaurant in town. TBA. If anyone wants to rest their weary bones, there is camping at the airport. Slickrock Campground, located in town, operated by a BASE jumper, is offering a skydivers' discount. You can pitch your tent, or hook-up your RV. The Super 8 Motel in Moab also has special boogie rates until September 11th. Rooms are limited, so please book in advance! Despite the current recession, Skydive Moab has experienced it's best year to date!! We expect this to generate into many, many, more jumpers at this year's Boogie! clint 1 #3 September 11, 2009 I'm working on having 8 BASE jumpers and 8 Swoopers, swoop the BASE jumpers off the cliff and land in a raft on the Colorado River. Easy for spectators to see.
