Which is why it is always counterproductive to put freeflyers out after RW groups - the vertical separation between groups is massively reduced and so the probably of a collision is increased



But if you do it the other way around the horizontal separation decreases and belly flyers would be right on top of the freeflyers, which increases the chances of a collision way more than with a decent horizontal separation.

You're about a decade late on this being a settled issue. Vertical separation is of zero consideration because you cannot guarantee everyone's opening altitude. The separation and exit order between belly and freefly has more to do with freefall drift.

At risk of this thread drifting it's better to search other threads on this forum that have explained this to death.
