Every year fro Hillbilly days, Raeford Parachute Center out of NC takes their PAC 750 to Pikeville and conducts skydiving operations at the airport. Almost ALWAYS light loads, plenty of room in the aircraft, and always some Shine around at night to boot. Its a private airport with very little traffic. Dont miss the landing area though, cause its about another mile or so down the mountain to the city which is the only area to land.
